About a week ago, I borrowed my friend's Flip Video Camera and I was SOLD! At first, I was a little hesitant because I am camera shy - unless of course it is a still shot that I can delete and re-take until the PERFECT photo comes out. I was using my friend's Flip, tiny, hand held, video camera, to record my evening. The first few shots were poor because I was all weird and nervous. By the end of the night, I was a real pro! We were having dinner and champagne at NoMi on the rooftop and people around me were quite annoyed. Especially because I incorporated them into my shots without their consent.

The camera was incredibly easy to use, so easy I thought I was doing it wrong! There are literally three or four buttons. Record, rewind, stop and erase. It is that simple. There isn't a "flash" so you have to have adequate lighting. You can create a one-of-a-kind pattern for your Flip Mino if you like, you can customize various colors and patterns like these below.

Most of all, I would say that it is a super affordable ($149 to $229), convenient toy, user friendly to point of being idiot proof, takes great shots and fits in your pocket. Uploading is super easy, it uses a USB connection. You can even get fun accessories like a Flip video camera tripod! The tripod is also super affordable $14.99 with Free Shipping. I cannot speak more highly about this great, fun camera. It is is also great for uploading to You Tube & your Blog! Which I hope to do soon.
